How to hang them
Up in ten minutes. Down in two.
No drilling and no wiring. The candles run on batteries and the line disappears after dark.
Hang
Press the hooks to the porch ceiling, tie on the clear line, and stagger the heights so the candles look scattered.
Power
One AAA battery in each candle and two in the wand. Every candle pairs with the wand out of the box.
Flick
Point the wand and flick. Every candle lights at once. Set the six-hour timer and they return at the same time each evening.

Hooks first
Press each adhesive hook to the ceiling and hold for ten seconds. Space them about a hand's width apart, or scatter them.

Line and batteries
Twist off the base, drop in one AAA, twist it back. Tie the clear line to the top loop and cut it to length, anywhere from 8 to 20 inches.

Pair and flick
Every candle is paired to the wand out of the box. Point, flick, done. Hold the wand's button for three seconds to set the six-hour timer.

Can I hang them outside?
Yes, on a covered porch or under eaves. They resist light splashes but are not waterproof, so keep them out of direct rain.
Will the line show?
The clear line disappears in low light. In daylight you may see it up close. Most people stagger the drop lengths between 8 and 20 inches.
Does one wand control more than one set?
Yes. Every Hollowick candle answers to every Hollowick wand, so you can add sets later and keep using one wand.
Are batteries included?
No. Each candle takes one AAA and the wand takes two. Rechargeable AAA batteries work well.
What if I miss the Halloween cutoff?
We keep shipping, and every order still goes out within 24 hours. Orders placed after October 24 may arrive after Halloween, and the 30-day return window still applies if it does.
How do returns work?
Return any unused set within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, including orders delivered in November.
